PRO TEMP CARE is a new company and we are passionate about providing the highest standards of care for the young people we are privileged to look after. We employ qualified, appropriately trained, and experienced staff, all of whom have a background working with young people who display emotional and behavioural difficulties. We undertake a thorough risk assessment for all our activities based on the individual young person and we have robust safety procedures in place. We follow standard Missing from Home protocols and complete appropriate and relevant Key work sessions, which are identified on an individual basis and agreed upon through the Social Care team. This assists in identifying triggers and then supporting the young person to develop coping strategies. Communication is crucial in any placement and we maintain regular contact with Social workers and provide weekly updates on their progress.

Our comprehensive suite of professional services caters to a diverse clientele, ranging from homeowners to commercial developers.

PRO TEMP CARE offers bespoke care within a residential children’s home setting. Our homes are registered for either male or female young people aged 8-17.

PRO TEMP CARE have created an environment where young people feel safe, happy, healthy, and cared for and can develop and thrive. We support them to fulfil their potential and this is underpinned using our CALM approach and ethos. CALM stands for Communication, Awareness, Motivation and Listening. Our homes are structured, so the staff can promote our CALM ethos and make them a warm nurturing place to live. Quite often in an emergency situation, young people can feel they have no one to turn to, we will provide a bridging placement and support for those young people whilst a more suitable, permanent placement is identified.

PRO TEMP CARE is outward facing, working within a wider system of professionals for each child. We also aim to work with the children’s families and communities of origin to help sustain links and understand past issues. We have high expectations of our staff teams and will fully support them in their role as decision-makers and as activities leaders. To fulfil their roles our staff and managers will be fully trained and also engaged in ongoing learning through our training and development programme.

“Every Child Matters.”

Our Approach

Everyone has a right to a good education, and we are committed to accessing this for our young people. Our unique approach is tailored to each young person, enabling them to adapt and thrive based on their interests and goals.

During the young person’s time with us they will undertake an initial assessment, from this we will identify what they enjoy and what they would like to explore, along with highlighting strengths and places for improvement. The young person will have an assigned keyworker who alongside the home’s manager, will discuss with the young person the options at their disposal to ensure that they achieve the best outcomes possible in meeting their aims. Education will not be a requirement unless it is requested by the social worker.
